Nutmeg

Launched in 2016, Nutmeg is a quarterly magazine devoted to Scottish football’s past, present and future. Edited by the renowned football writer Daniel Gray and designed by Ally Palmer it offers opinion, reflection, interviews, insight, illustration, photography and poetry.

It is a unique blend between 196 uniquely elegant pages with a format more akin to a book than a magazine. We allow our contributors the freedom to write at length on subjects often overlooked by the mainstream media and this allows them to be more reflective and considered.

Above all Nutmeg is steeped in a deep and lasting love for the game in Scotland in all its maddening glory. It is often said Scottish football is still more authentic than our near neighbours and Nutmeg reflects that.
